A one-of-a-kind space where Zambian children, youth and women can dream big, reach their full potential and become changemakers.
The new Learning & Leadership Centre will be a first-of-a-kind educational resource in Zambia. It will include innovative learning spaces like a STEM lab, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Hub, digital library, and an Art Classroom. It will be accessible and incorporates special education learning spaces.
It’s also being built with sustainability in mind, so it includes rainwater collection and storage and solar electricity production.
The new center has the capacity for 500+ children, youth and women. Other learning spaces include a library, computer lab, classrooms, community hall, kitchen/dining room, Health Hub, and counselling room.

What also makes the Amos Youth Centre unique is the organization’s commitment to a decade-long investment in a child, starting as early as the age of five and creating opportunities even past college. We have been doing this long enough that, today, empowered leaders are creating change. From the incredible work and aspirations of the Amos Youth Centre’s alumni, it is clear that the model and methods work.
